Brian has started, grown and sold hemophilia-specific pharmacies multiple times throughout his career. Beginning in 1989, Brian launched his first hemophilia pharmacy, Factor Care, Inc., which he sold three years later to Quantum Healthcare. As a true serial entrepreneur, Brian launched Hemophilia of the Sunshine State, Inc. (HOSS) in 1995, eventually selling HOSS seven years later to Priority Healthcare. Brian is regularly hired as an expert witness in hemophilia pharmacy related disputes and litigation.
Brian and his wife Rhonda are heavily involved in the bleeding disorders community. They founded the Hemophilia Foundation of Greater Florida more than twenty years ago, and they both continue to serve the bleeding disorders community by providing aid to, supporting and educating others.
Brian is an investor in various business enterprises, including Planet Fitness gyms, the Babalu Tacos & Tapas national restaurant concept, and real estate throughout the Tampa Bay area. Brian is a registered pharmacist, and he earned his Bachelor of Pharmacy and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan.
